Are you looking to engage your followers on TikTok in real-time? Then, you can go live! The social media platform is used to share videos and is open to over 700 million users. TikTok also has a feature that allows users who meet specific requirements to go live. This means you can transmit live video and audio to your followers and viewers. Let’s take a look at how to go live on TikTok.
Requirements for TikTok Livestreaming
Before you can go live on TikTok, there are two requirements you need to meet.
The first requirement you must meet is that of your age. To go live, you must be 16 years of age or older on TikTok. Users under 16 years old are prevented from going live. TikTok gets information from your signing up to find out your age.
2. Minimum Follower Requirement
Another requirement is the minimum follower requirement. You must have a minimum of 1000 followers on your TikTok account to go live. If you don’t have these followers, the app won’t show you the feature to go live.
