Quick Guide
Start by creating a shape similar to how you want to curve your text. This will act as a guide for curving your text how you want. Next, create the text you want within your shape. Make sure the shape is large enough for your text to fit within comfortably or the warping will prove to be difficult.
Once your text is placed comfortably within the shape, click the warp button located beneath the canvas and slightly to the right. This will reveal lots of blue dots around your text enabling you to warp the shape of your text to however you want.
Once you’ve warped your text to your desired shape. You can remove the shape you’ve warped your text to leaving just the warped text remaining.
How to Curve Text in Procreate
1. Begin with creating the shape you want to curve the text into on the layer below.
Before you start, it’s easier to create a shape you want to follow on the layer below your text, you can do this by creating a new layer and creating a circle. Make sure your shape is big enough for your text to fit into, this makes it much easier to bend the text into without any unwanted warping.
2. Drag your text down to the shape borders
As described in the text above, drag your text down so the words are touching to borders of your shape.
3. Find & Select warp
You can find warp on the toolbar below your canvas. It’s located on the right side of the toolbar. Warp will allow you to change the shape of your text as you’ll see in the next step.
4. Warp text using blue dots
Blue dots will appear all-around your text. This will enable you to change the shape and curvature of your text so you can bend & warp it within your shape.
5. Removing the border once finished warping
As shown below, you can remove the shape you’ve moulded your text to leaving just the curved text remaining.
