Changing the web address (domain name)
If you’re looking to change your store domain name, this can be a lot more complicated. It can damage your SEO if not done correctly, and I would advise getting a talented SEO expert. Feel free to contact me if you need any information. I have changed many domains and can advise you in the right direction.
You need to make sure you inform Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools that you have changed the domain name. However, Bing had removed this feature when I last went to use it (weird! I know).
