The virtual event held in California by Apple in the late hours of Tuesday, has led many conversations and also stares from the public at large as Apple introduced the iPhone 13 series.
It’s no news about Apples exotic specs and features. The virtual event saw Apple release four new iPhones, a new iPad and as well a new Apple smartwatch.
The new smartphones released are; the iPhone 13, the iPhone 13 mini, the iPhone 13 pro and iPhone13 pro max. As expected, there are no new physical changes compared to the iPhone 12.
But, Apple took it’s consumers unaware with impressive storage options and some other upgrades without a rise in it’s base price.

Apple iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Mini
The iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro has a screen of 6.1 inches and 5.4 inches respectively. The hallmark of this device is the use of an A15 Bionic processor which makes it faster than its predecessor using an A14 chip. The A15 chip gives smartphones improved learning capabilities such as analyzing text in photos. Both iPhone 13’s possess a new 5G chip, as well as an upgraded display.
The iPhone 13 power lasts for up to 2.5 hours more than its predecessor, while the iPhone 13 mini lasts 1.5 hours longer that its predecessor. Also, includes a cinematic mode that looks like portrait mood videos.
The iPhones are available in 5 unique colors; black, blue, red, white, and pink at a retail price of $799 for iPhone13 with 128GB, while the iPhone13 mini with 128GB costs $699. Other available storages are 256GB and 512GB.
iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max
The Apple iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max have a screen of 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches respectively. They are powered with an A15 Bionic Chip. The pro device has an upgraded Retina XDR display alongside a faster refreshing rate.
The iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max are suitable for gamers due to its five-core CPU with over 50% faster graphics.
The camera is equipped with a 77mm telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom both wide and ultra-wide views. It has a battery life of close to 24 hours and maximum storage of 1 terabyte.
The Pro and Pro Max come in different colors such as gold, silver, graphite, and sierra blue. The iPhones has a retail price of $999 and $1099 for Pro and Pro Max respectively. However, the iPhone Pro Max with 1 terabyte is $1599.
Note; shipment of these new device starts on September 24.
Apple Watch series 7
Apple unveiled the newest member of the Apple Watch series and its series 7. It’s no surprise that the watch will be a slimmer device with a wider screen display that’s almost 20% larger than the previous series.
The Apple watch series 7 will start for $399. Due to its widescreen, it has a full keyboard that can accommodate 50% more text.
iPad and iPad Mini
According to Apple, the iPad (10.2 inches) is now faster than Chromebook. This is due to its new A13 chip which makes it 20% faster than it’s the previous model. The updated iPad comes with a 12mp ultras wide camera.
The iPad Mini which is 8.3-inches is designed with visibly rounded corners, upgraded back and front cameras, and smaller bezels. The iPad has a retail price of $329 for the 64Gb storage version, The iPad mini is available at $499.
Overall there wasn’t much released at Apple’s event. Many were expecting the new Macbook Pros to be released as it has been long awaited. But all in all, the event has made a storm with the new upgrades of their best selling products.
